GIS and RS Utilization in IWRM for the Officials (Irrigation, Agriculture, Environment, Forest and Public Health Engineering) of the Government of Balochistan

Prof Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Director of USPCAS-W, Prof. Dr. Kamran Ansari, Co-Director, USPCAS-W, Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Qureshi HoD, Professor USPCAS-W, and Mr. Ghulam Hussain Dars (Training Coordinator) greeted all training participants and explained the program objectives and goals.
Speaking to the training participants, Dr. Mahar said Balochistan Officials would enhance their skills and knowledge of GIS and Remote Sensing Utilization in Integrated Water Resource Management through ten days of training.
The training is designed to build the capacity and professional development of the Balochistan Government Officials under the “BIWRMDP” Project.
Dr. Bakhshal Lashari, Professor Emeritus, delivered the talk on Emerging Water Issues in Pakistan and IWRM as a solution.
