The celebration of world water day under the theme “Groundwater – Making the Invisible Visible” was organized by the U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water (USPCAS-W), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (MUET) Jamshoro, held at the Auditorium of USPCAS-W.
Prof. Dr. Taha Hussain Ali, Vice-Chancellor MUET, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami Qureshi, PVC-Khairpur Campus MUET, and Prof. Dr. Khan Muhammad Brohi, Dean for Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering MUET, graced their presence at the World-Water day celebration.
The panel discussion on Groundwater issues was held in which specialists containing Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Director USPCAS-W, Prof. Dr. Bakhshal Lashari, Emeritus Professor USPCAS-W, Prof. Dr. Kamran Ansari, Co-Director USPCAS-W, Prof. Dr. Abdul Latif Qureshi, HoD USPCAS-W, Prof. Dr. Zubair Ahmed, HoD USPCAS-W, and Dr. Arjumand Zaidi, Senior Research Fellow answered various questions posed by the participants of the occasion.
