US.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water celebrated its 5th graduation ceremony and 4th session of the 25th annual Convocation of Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro
Prof. Dr. Taha Hussain Ali greeted all the distinguished guests at the ceremony and thanked USAID, the University of Utah, the University of Nevada, and HEC Pakistan for their technical assistance in making the Center one of Pakistan’s top national water centers today. Dr. Taha congratulated all the graduated students and their parents. He continued by saying that the National Water Center has a full teaching and research facility, comprising six cutting-edge laboratories with the most recent tools and technology.
More than 70 research projects and consulting assignments financed by various national, international, and governmental organizations have been performed by the National Water Centre. Additionally, he stated that the Center supports and contributes to communities, public and private organizations, and government agencies by doing research and providing analysis on Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG.6.
In the graduation ceremony of the Center, the degrees were conferred to over 42 Scholars. Dr. Taha and Dr. Mahar presented traditional gifts and shields to the honorable guests. MUET KHP Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Sami, Deans of different faculties, including Prof. Dr. Khan Muhammad Brohi, Registrar Mr. Lachman Das, Controller of Examinations Mr. Kahlid Channa, senior faculty members, and distinguished guests from the public and private sector participated in the 4th session of 25th Convocation of the University.
