USPCAS-W Empowers Municipal Corporation Jacobabad (MCJ) Officials with Two-Day Training on Occupational Health and Safety
The U.S.- Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water (USPCAS-W) conducted a comprehensive two-day training program on Occupational Health and Safety for officials of the Municipal Corporation Jacobabad (MCJ). The training sessions took place at The Shaikh Ayaz University Shikarpur. This initiative was a component of the “Water Governance for Sindh Activity Project,” supported by USAID Pakistan and executed in collaboration with the implementing partner, HANDS Pakistan.
Renowned experts Dr Muhammad Ali Nizamani from USPCAS-W and Mr Wisarat Warsi from Altas Pak led the training sessions. Their extensive knowledge and practical insights contributed to a robust learning experience. The training delved into fundamental occupational health and safety principles, emphasizing creating a secure and health-conscious work environment.
Attendees had the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios relevant to their roles within MCJ. Interactive sessions fostered hands-on learning and skill development.
