Theme: sustaining processes and Practices of USPCASW

 Description: The July 2018 USPCASW Training Mission will emphasize advancing processes and practices in curriculum reform, research, governance, and sustainability of USPCASW. The mission will include two parts. In part 1, a series of meetings and short-term training will target improving governance of faculty performance evaluation and research administration. In part 2, additional WASH-focused training will be added to the program of meetings on curriculum review, thesis topic alignment with research thrusts, vision and standards for the training center, and center governance and sustainability. The WASH training will include hands-on training in collaboration with visiting experts.

 Mission Goals:

• Develop faculty performance evaluation processes, practices, and tools
• Review and refine research administrative processes, practices, and tools
• Define structure and vision for a training center
• Establish curriculum reform and quality assessment processes
• Develop coherent thesis topic definition processes
• Advance center governance and sustainability policies and practices

16 July: Monday

Short-Term Training: Faculty Performance Evaluation Process

Discussion on Establishment of Water Extension Service at the Center
