Two-Day RO Operation & Maintenance Training for Male & Female Community RO Operators
The U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies organized a comprehensive training session for Male & Female Community RO Operators on “RO Operation & Maintenance” in collaboration with Thar Foundation and Engro PowerGen Thar Limited.
Participants delved into various aspects of Reverse Osmosis (RO) technology, including Introduction to RO Technology and Plant Overview, Water Quality Control and Recordkeeping, Laboratory Training, RO Plant Operation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting, Hands-on Practice. Resource persons included esteemed experts such as Dr Tanveer Ahmed Gadhi, Assistant Professor at USPCASW; Mr Tariq Ali, CEO of TMI Technology Services, Hyderabad; Mr Vinod Kumar, MS Graduate of USPCASW, and former RO operator at EPTL; and Zohaib Ali, PhD. Scholar, USPCASW.
RO technology is crucial for diverse industrial and residential applications, relying on precise operation and maintenance. This training equipped participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective RO plant operation and maintenance. By integrating rigorous monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting, the RO plant ensures consistent, high-quality purified water, supporting sustainable development and meeting evolving sectoral needs.
