Next-Gen Water Champions: USPCAS-W Students Impress at Stakeholder Workshop
Aqsa Soomro, an IWRM student at USPCAS-W, spoke passionately about the role of youth in water management: “The inclusion of youth is vital; their participation fosters a sense of ownership.” Alongside her, students like Mubashir from the HID program USPCAS-W demonstrated proactive engagement during technical sessions, contributing to discussions and sharing innovative ideas for strengthening irrigation systems.
The workshop brought together a diverse group of professionals and stakeholders from various departments, and our students stood out with their enthusiasm, knowledge, and commitment to sustainable water governance.
Sessions led by World Bank experts, including Mr. Jonathan and Mr. Mustafa Talpur, provided valuable insights into addressing real-world challenges and developing locally grounded solutions.
We are proud of our students for representing USPCAS-W and showcasing the potential of the next generation of water leaders!
