Five-Day Training Workshop on GIS & Remote Sensing concludes
A five-day training workshop on “Application of GIS & Remote Sensing for Monitoring & Management of Natural Resources”, for the faculty of U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water (USPCAS-W) concluded in Geographical Information System (GIS) Laboratory of the Center at old library building of MUET Jamshoro. Dr. Bakhshal Khan Lashari, Project Director in the certificate distribution ceremony said that latest training and refresher courses are very much important to conduct the research with latest techniques and technology. He said that the Center had a plan to organize the series of seminars and workshops to build the capacity of faculty and teachers. On this occasion, he appreciated the training focal person and also distributed the certificates of participation among the participants of the five-day training course.
Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal, training focal person moderated the ceremony and briefed about the importance of the five-day training workshop.
