Water is a key driver for economic and social development of any country. It has a basic function in maintaining the integrity of the natural environment and is also linked to other vital natural resources; hence it is imperative that water issues cannot be resolved in isolation. Due to this fact, the worldwide integrated approach for managing water resources and environmental issues is adopted and acknowledged at all levels. Thus, knowing the importance of sustainable management of water and environmental related issues in Pakistan, USPCAS-W, MUET, Jamshoro is and organizing Two-Day Young Researchers’ National Conference on Water and Environment (NCWE-2019).
The aim of this conference is to provide an ideal academic platform to young researchers and scholars from all over the country to present, share and exchange their latest findings about water and environment-related issues. The papers on different themes of the conference will be presented in parallel sessions to provide opportunities to delegates throughout the country to share their scholarly knowledge, skills, experience and expertise with focus on water, environmental and communal challenges facing our current and future generation. The targeted Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the conference are: Goal No. 1, 2, 6 and 13.
