World Bank Delegation Visits USPCAS-W to Discuss Hydro-Agro-Informatics (HAI) Program and Strategic Water Initiatives

We were pleased to host a delegation from the World Bank at the U.S.-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water (USPCAS-W) at Mehran University of Engineering and Technology (Mehran UET). This visit was part of the Hydro-Agro-Informatics (HAI) Program.

The delegation included Mr. Greg Browder, the Global Lead for Water and Team Leader for the SWAT project, as well as Mr. Zelalem Tesfaye, a Water Resources Management Specialist. The World Bank team collaborated with USPCAS-W experts and representatives from CEGIS Bangladesh to discuss the GAP Analysis, Conceptual Design, and Detailed Design, while identifying a strategic way forward. Mr. Umer Kareem, Dr. Muhammad Azmat, and Dr. Rubina from FAO also attended the meeting.
