A training on “Life-Saving Water Filter” was given by Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Director of National Water Center, Mehran UET. Sub-engineers from different districts were trained on the operation & maintenance of the Life Saving Water Filter.
50 Water filtration units were sponsored by PDMA to distribute in different districts of Sindh. The Life-Saving Water Filter is a product of the National Water Center U.S.- Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water. An effective portable, hand-operated, Life-Saving Water Filter for water purification during emergency response and poor water quality areas.
