We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the 3rd National Steering Committee (NSC) Meeting, held at USPCAS-W, Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (MUET), Jamshoro. This significant event was part of our HEC-funded project titled “Eco-Innovation for Sustainable Industrial Growth of Major Industrial Sectors in SEZs under CPEC,” supported by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. The project aims to promote eco-innovative strategies across Pakistan’s Special Economic Zones (SEZs) under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), paving the way for a greener and more sustainable industrial future.

This was followed by an insightful presentation on Policy Frameworks by Prof. Dr. Zubair Ahmed and Dr. Asmatullah, which addressed the strategic policies essential for promoting eco-innovation within industrial sectors.
After the presentations, an engaging question-and-answer session allowed participants to discuss project challenges, provide stakeholder feedback, and share key recommendations for overcoming obstacles. Attendees contributed valuable insights during this interactive segment.
The session concluded with remarks from Mr. Muslim S. Mohamedi, Chairman of the NSC and Advisor to the Federal Tax Ombudsman (FTO), Islamabad. He is also the Chairman of the Pakistan-Thailand Business Council at FPCCI and the Senior Vice Chairman of the Diplomatic Affairs Committee at FPCCI.
