10-Days Training on Construction Management and Procurement at USPCAS-W, Mehran UET Jamshoro

Prof Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar (Director USPCAS-W) welcomed the Chief Guest, Prof Dr. Khan Muhammad Brohi (Dean Faculty of Architecture & Civil Engineering, Mehran UET) and all the training participants from the Irrigation Department, Govt of Balochistan.

Director USPCAS-W elaborated on the seven years of achievements of the Centre and explained the training objectives. He said the Irrigation Department Govt of Balochistan officials would enhance their skills and knowledge about project construction, implementation, procurement process and planning through this ten-day training. The training aims to build the capacity of officials from the Irrigation Department, Government of Balochistan through the higher authority of the Balochistan Integrated Water Resource Management and Development Project (BIWRMDP) in the field of construction management and procurement, he said.

The chief guest of the inaugural ceremony Prof Dr. Khan Muhammad Brohi, said that the water and environment issues could be tackled with the cumulative support of experts. The Mehran UET experts are available to support the relevant Govt department, stakeholders and communities. We have state art of laboratories and equipment available in the University, said Dr. Brohi.

Prof. Dr. Kamran Ansari (Co-Director, USPCAS-W), Mr. Ghulam Hussain Dars (Training Coordinator), Prof Dr. Ashfaque Pathan and other faculty members and experts were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
