Gender Equity

We are steadfast in our commitment to fostering an inclusive academic and research environment where gender equity is not just a policy, but a core value. Recognizing that gender issues are central to the achievement of strategic goals, we actively promote an atmosphere where both men and women enjoy equal opportunities to contribute to and benefit from advancements in the water sector. Our initiatives are designed to dismantle systemic barriers, ensuring that all scholars—regardless of gender—have equitable access to professional resources, leadership roles, and research opportunities. By empowering our students and faculty to challenge traditional norms and champion inclusive development, we are striving to create a balanced society where everyone can fully realize their human rights and participate meaningfully in the social, economic, and political development of Pakistan

Our activities range from specialized career counseling and capacity-building workshops tailored for women in engineering to essential training sessions focused on workplace safety and harassment prevention. Furthermore, we actively promote an inclusive campus culture through dedicated outreach programs and various health and sports activities, ensuring that every woman in our community has the support, resources, and environment necessary to excel in their academic and professional pursuits.
