Engr. Tofique Ahmed Mallah

Biography

Engr. Tofique Ahmed is working as a Lecturer at the US-Pakistan Center for Advanced Studies in Water (USPCAS-W), MUET Jamshoro, since July 2025. He has done a Master of Engineering (ME) from IEEM, Mehran UET Jamshoro, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) from QUEST Nawabshah in the field of Energy & Environmental Engineering. He has also done international professional certifications, including NEBOSH IGC UK, OSHA-30 hours General Industry NASP USA, Managing Safely V.5.0 IOSH, UK, and other national courses as well. He is a well-experienced Environmental Engineer with a minimum of 6 years’ working experience on IFC/World Bank-funded wind power projects of EPC and O&M. He has also worked as a Research Assistant in IEEM, MUET Jamshoro for one year. His expertise lies in providing technical inputs within the field of energy and environmental engineering. His research interests included waste-to-energy (WtE) and renewable energy systems. He also has good research experience with scientific publications in reputable journals.

Optimized castor and neem biodiesel blends and developed empirical models to predict their characteristics. Performed various laboratory tests on raw crude oil and biodiesel (specific gravity, kinematic viscosity, cloud/fire/flash point, and fatty acid analysis). ENGINEER- ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY QALANDAR BUX ABRO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY (QBA) PAKISTAN	May 2017 – May 2018	Performed safety inspections and conducted site safety supervision. Ensured and managed personal protective equipment (PPE) for employees, workers, and visitors, and maintained PPE inventory records. Managed solid waste management area to ensure proper disposal of all types of waste and maintained records of solid/hazardous waste.
