Biography

An eminent senior academic, research scientist, and operational excellence strategist with 20 years of robust professional experience bridging elite international postdoctoral research, postgraduate academic leadership, and industrial quality assurance. Holds an advanced PhD in Biological Environment and Two Postdocs from Kangwon National University, South Korea, specializing in biological water/wastewater treatment, industrial spent wash reclamation, resource recovery (struvite and biofertilizers), and environmental biotechnology.

Currently serving as Associate Professor and Sectional Head of the Water, Sanitation, and Health Sciences (WASH) Program and in-charge of Soil Lab and Microbiology Lab at USPCAS-W, MUET, managing an expansive academic ecosystem and advanced research laboratories. Proven capability in research funding generation, having secured and managed PKR 358.5 Million in grants at MUET as Principal Investigator (PI) and Co-PI from premier international and national agencies (including USAID and HEC), alongside a PKR 290 Million international research portfolio at KNU. Globally recognized researcher with 52 peer-reviewed scientific publications (including 27 HEC W-Category and 19 Q1-ranked papers), yielding a Cumulative Impact Factor of 170, an h-index of 19 (i10: 24), and 2,071 citations.

An institutional champion of academic quality assurance and corporate-grade university governance, recognized as an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA, UK) (Senior Fellow submitted). Uniquely bridges the gap between advanced scientific discovery and institutional administration by holding premium elite credentials: Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor. These operational frameworks are actively deployed to steer university statutory bodies, lead Postgraduate Program Review (PGPR) committees, manage Self-Assessment Report (SAR) cycles, and execute multi-million rupee engineering projects within strict compliance, output-driven timelines.
