Biography
Dr. Kamran Ansari is a distinguished Professor and Director at the U.S.-Pakistan Centers for Advanced Studies in Water (USPCASW), Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro. With over 31 years of expertise in water resources management, hydrology, and climate change, he holds a Ph.D. in Open Channel Hydraulics from the University of Nottingham, UK.
A leader in his field, Dr. Ansari has spearheaded major projects for organizations like the World Bank, USAID, and the Sindh Irrigation Department, focusing on flood management, groundwater mapping, and water governance. His extensive research, published in high-impact journals, addresses critical water challenges in Pakistan and globally.
