Jashn-e-Baharan Celebrations at Girl’s Hostel, USPCASW MUET

To welcome the colors of spring, a social gathering namely “Jashn-e-Baharan” was organized by the Gender Equity Committee, USPCASW at girls’ hostel MUET Jamshoro. Highlights of the event included tree plantation by all the participants; henna designing and distribution of colorful bangles among all females. The event was marked by the presence of Dr. Bakhshal Khan Lashari, Project Director USPCAS-W,  Prof. Dr. Rasool Bux Mahar, Deputy Director, and Prof. Dr. Kamaran Ansari, as well as female faculty and students of USPCASW. Welcoming the participants, Ms. Uzma Imran, Gender focal person said that by organizing such events aimed at to provide an opportunity for interaction among students, faculty, and staff.

On this occasion, the healthy discussion was held among the students, faculty and Project Managment Unit (PMU) staff. They exchanged the ideas of mutual interest and benefit. The discussion was quite productive and helped in taking decisions for administrative and academic improvements of the Center and also in improving facilities for the girls’ hostel.  Motivational words by the faculty and PMU encouraged the students to take up their studies and social interaction together. Socializing proceeded with refreshments and the session ended with tree plantations, fun, and photographs.
